III – Lockdown
Current budget: $30.00
Day three and it falls on Friday – the weekend is around the corner. So I should be expecting dinner plans and invitations to go out… And I wasn’t wrong. Today I thought I was going to go home after work; eat something light; go to the gym; and finally go to bed. HOWEVER, the Universe seems to want to test me every time I am doing these types of “life projects.” My phone rings as I get home: a text. ”What are you planning to do tonight,” I am asked by one of my friends. I already know I am going out. I haven’t seen him in a while and our friendship is developing into a great one. So I want to invest in it. Besides, it’s nothing new for me to get ready (or try…) in 20 minutes to meet people for a dinner or a drink or too.
The night started off with a very interesting turn of events which prompted my friend to say “You need a drink…” I couldn’t have agreed more. My friend bought me a drink – helping me drown the uproar inside of me aaaaaand keeping my dollars save inside my pocket c: . I was very appreciative of that. Though my night was not looking good, I am a very determined human being. I was not going to let my night be ruined by any means. So that meant more dancing! And it helped that I got to hang out with another friend of mine that appeared randomly at another venue I visited (he bought me drinks too >:P). I am lucky to find people who are supportive of what I do and that want me to have a good time c: . I got home all tired, beat, and with my pockets full once more
.
Remaining budget: $30.00
